Born on March 29, 2025, Kona is the newest female under evaluation for our English Labrador Retriever breeding program. She is a beautifully structured Chocolate English Labrador, already displaying the hallmark features we look for in our foundation dogs — a classic English head, rich coat color, correct balance, and a gentle, intelligent expression. Her pedigree reflects generations of distinguished conformation and sound movement, and we are very pleased with her development as she matures.
Kona’s disposition is equally impressive. She is a confident, affectionate young Labrador who naturally gravitates toward her family and delights in being part of daily life. She is currently excelling in formal obedience training, demonstrating attentiveness, willingness, and a steady temperament that makes her a joy to work with. “Place”
The command “Place” means the dog goes to a designated spot—like a mat or cot—and stays there until released.
“Heel”
“Heel” is a command that tells the dog to walk closely beside your left leg, matching your pace and staying focused without pulling ahead or lagging behind.
“Down and Place”
Down and Place together mean the dog goes to a designated spot, lies down, and remains there calmly until released.
